Welcome and tips for best progress
Welcome to the Vocal Weavings in Rhythms in Seven
Happy to be offering this for the first time and
excited for what door it may open, during, after and beyond the course.
The series is progressive.
Each week we explore ways to play a rhythm in seven and ways
we can sing and weave on top of patterns and measures.
We are multi-tracking.
Best way for progress with the material
is to do the recordings no longer than a week apart
so you ride on the momentum of the body memory
which prepares you for the next class.
Practicing between recordings will make a big difference in your progress
and ability to learn just a little faster.
When you begin each class, take the class as if you were
going to share it with someone soon after. It will seal some of
the info. stronger. It's a little secret to learn deeper.
Complete each handout and review what you learned to seal it in.
Also have patience and compassion for yourself and honor our pace of learning.
Get comfortable with those skills that may still feel uncomfortable
until they feel more familiar. If you give time for it, it will become
natural.
Practice and repetition increases the progress.
Practice 15-20 minutes 4x a week is suggested
5-15 minutes daily
All material on Frame Drum Circle Song Portal is meant for personal learning to expand your rhythmic skills and experience.
The content and material is not meant as teaching material for teachers. You can be inspired by the work to create your own personal content.
May you be inspired to explore beyond what you learn here.
Enjoy the journey!
