Repetition is key

Important for best progress.

1.Do each recording without stopping the recording.
2.Do one no longer than a week apart.
3.Practice shortly after to seal in what you learn
4.Do homework to support body memory.

Each recording builds upon the last so keep the momentum
until you complete all the recordings.

If you wait too long before doing the next one you lose the
momentum of the body memory.

Once you completed the whole course you can
then review at your own pace with pausing, rewinding,
fast forwarding as desired.

OTHER TIPS
*Have patience, it takes time to learn
*Have compassion to honor your pace of learning
*Take the course as if you are going to share it with one other person
*Repetition is the pathway
*Play in the mirror
*Have your drum accessible
*Practice suggestion is 30 minutes 3-4x a week min. if possible
or daily for 10-15 minutes a day.

When studying with Layne, she would suggest an hour a day.
Note she studied with Glen Velez, the founding father of the modern frame drum movement and they would rehearse for 3-6 hours.
